Needs to change in mentality towards women Says Rapper Hard Kaur on the Haryana Stalking Case
On the Haryana Stalking Case Rapper Hard Kaur have her own view
After two recent incidents of chasing in Chandigarh and then in Mumbai, British-Indian rapper Hard Kaur expressed concern to ANI on Tuesday that people need to change their mentality towards the women of their country.
While talking to Media, she said, “I think that everybody has gone mad like they have lost respect. We also hear weird comments and we wonder what bad have we done. If everybody has an opinion today then that does not mean that their opinion is correct.” She added that such mentality should be changed. “The mentality needs to change. Parents need to tell their children that this is wrong. I’m fed up from a lot many things. I can speak a lot but nothing will change until mentality changes. We need to take care of the women of this country. These are your women, mothers, sisters. Why are you insulting us everywhere?”

Amid investigations into the Chandigarh stalking case, a techie named as Nitin Sharma, a software engineer from Malad has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly chasing a woman on her way home with her two children, and then ringing her doorbell at 2 am on Sunday night. Aditi Nagpaul has called the incident shocking and nerve-wracking in a Facebook post in which she has shared photos that she had taken of her stalker, warning people of his “psychotic streak”.
